Wellness Oversight Committee

The UCSD Wellness Oversight Committee is chaired by Chris Kane, MD with support and input from leadership, including the Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, Dean, and CEO. 

The UCSD Wellness Oversight Committee receives recommendations for programmatic and resource decision from UCSD Physician Wellness Steering Committee (Dr. Sonia Ramamoorthy, Chair) regarding UCSD physician wellness initiatives. 

Committee members include the Vice Chancellor for Health Sciences (John Carethers MD), the President of UCSDH (Patty Maysent), the Dean of the School of Medicine (Barbara Jung, MD), the Director of the T. Denny Sanford Institute for Empathy and Compassion (William Mobley MD), the Chief Experience Officer (Tom Savides MD), the Chief Medical Officer (Catheryn Yashar MD), and Clinical Department Chairs representative (Zea Borok MD), and Executive Leadership representing Rady's Children's Specialists (Robin Steinhorn, MD).
