Physician Peer Support Program
The WE CARE Physician Peer Support Program provides a confidential space for physicians to seek guidance and receive emotional support, fostering a supportive culture to improve overall well-being.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
UCSDH employees and eligible dependents can access confidential counseling, unlimited phone consultations, and up to three face-to-face sessions per incident. Call 1-866-808-6205 (24/7) to speak with an Emotional Wellbeing Specialist.
Headspace Care
Private, on-demand behavioral coaching 24/7 in English and Spanish via your smartphone. Video therapy and psychiatry available upon request after initial intake with a coach.
Healer Education Assessment & Referral Program (HEAR)
Anonymous online assessments, confidential counseling, and referrals for stress, burnout, and depression. Physicians can call direct therapist lines at 858-905-2342/858-933-6409/858-905-2734 , or email hear@health.ucsd.edu, M-F, 8a-5p.
